Here at BIT Training, we’re pleased and proud to announce that we’ve been reaccredited by ROATP (Register of Apprentice Training Providers) as an official Government recognised provider to the IT industry.
This accreditation demonstrates that our apprenticeships, training, and qualifications in the IT and Cyber Security industry meet the very highest level demanded by the Register. Without this accreditation, it’s impossible for businesses to access the various Government funding available for apprenticeships, which makes this an essential part of the BIT Training business.
The Register requires an annual accreditation which for this year was brought forward earlier with a stricter set of criteria. This in turn made securing the accreditation even harder this time round, but it’s now safely in place for a further twelve-month period.
At BIT Training we help businesses get started with apprenticeships, providing them with expert knowledge of what’s involved and how Digital, IT and Cyber Security apprenticeships can be integrated into businesses. We help those looking to become apprentices as ‘leaners’ as well as those looking to take them on as ‘employers’.
Digital, IT and Cyber Security Apprenticeships plug skills gaps and improve competitiveness and productivity, putting organisation's reputation for making a positive impact, very much in the spotlight.
Commenting on the news, Ben Franklin, CEO of BIT Training said: “We believe that the BIT Training apprenticeships, training and qualifications that we offer the IT and cyber industry are second to none and this accreditation is testament to that. This recognition from the ROATP is a hugely important part of the industry because it allows levy ‘pots’ to be accessed properly and used effectively. It’s fair to say that our business would be in a very different position if the accreditation had not been secured, so making sure it was in place once again was absolutely vital.”
